About Me

I grew up in a very agricultural part of Massachusetts, making me used to driving by roadside produce stands and farmers markets. It took me over a year of living in Boston to realize that there are tons of farmers markets here as well. I don’t think many people are aware of the farms around the city and are much more used to grocery stores. Living on my own and figuring out how to shop for food taught me how hard it is to find good, reasonably priced food. At first, all I knew about was the over-priced, ready made food at convenience stores. I was so surprised when I found the Haymarket farmers market and how cheap it was. I wish someone had told me about it earlier.
